try the experiment in Section 7.2 of your text book.

Try comparing your weight on different planets, using this handy Excel calculator.
Remember that while your mass stays constant, the pull of gravity (your weight) depends on which planet you are on.
For very large planets, it also depends on whether you are measuring gravity at the centre or the edge of the planet. -
