Coloured filters can be used
to add colours or to subtract colours.
A red filter appears red to us because it absorbs all the other colours
in white light, and only lets through the red.
A red T-shirt absorbs all the other colours, and only reflects red back
to us.
By using combinations of the secondary set of primary colours,
cyan, magenta and yellow, a large range of colours can be produced.
Can you figure out what colour you would get if you put all three
of these filters together?
What about cyan and magenta?
or magenta and yellow?
and cyan and yellow?
